Julius versucht, außerhalb von Kategorien zu denken und verschiedene Arten von Musik zu kombinieren, die ihn inspirieren. Komplexe rhythmische Strukturen, spielerische, schnelle Rollenwechsel, freie Improvisationen, einfache und eingängige Melodien sowie eine besondere harmonische Sprache treffen aufeinander. Er hat das Glück, dass seine Kompositionen von einem der gefragtesten Spieler der Berliner Szene ausgeführt werden. Auch wenn viele Parameter durch die Kompositionen vorgegeben sind, gibt es doch ein gutes Maß an Freiheit, das die Musik jedes Mal anders klingen lässt.

Julius tries to think outside of categories and to combine different kinds of music that inspire him. Complex rhythmical structures, playful, quick change of roles, free improvisations, simple and catchy melodies as well as a special harmonic language meet. He is lucky enough to have his compositions executed by one of the most sought-after players from the Berlin scene. Even though many parameters are set through the compositions there is still a good amount of freedom that makes the music sound different each time.
