Zu dem neu gegründeten Trio aus Julius Windisch, Leif Berger und Simon Jermyn gesellt sich nun die großartige Kölner Cellistin Elisabeth Coudoux hinzu. Dieser Abend wird der zweite von drei Konzerten in Berlin, Köln und München sein, an dem die vier Musiker*innen in dieser Konstellation zusammen spielen.
Die Band wird an diesem Abend ausschließlich improvisieren und sich ehrlich und echt im Moment begegnen.

Julius Windisch, geboren 1995, ist ein deutscher Pianist und Komponist, der in den Bereichen Jazz und improvisierte Musik arbeitet. Von 2014 bis 2017 studierte er Jazz-Klavier in Bern bei Colin Vallon und Django Bates. Im Juli 2019 schloss er den European Jazz Masters am Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium in Kopenhagen, mit Austauschsemestern am Jazz Institut Berlin und dem Conservatorium van Amsterdam, ab. In 2015 und ’16 war er Stipendiat der Lyra Stiftung Zürich.

The newly formed trio of Julius Windisch, Leif Berger and Simon Jermyn is now joined by the great Cologne cellist Elisabeth Coudoux. This evening will be the second of three concerts in Berlin, Cologne and Munich where the four musicians* will play together in this constellation.
The band will exclusively improvise on this evening and meet honestly and genuinely in the moment.

Julius Windisch, born 1995, is a German pianist and composer working in the fields of jazz and improvised music. From 2014 to 2017 he studied jazz piano in Bern with Colin Vallon and Django Bates. In July 2019, he completed the European Jazz Masters at the Rytmisk Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, with exchange semesters at the Jazz Institute Berlin and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. In 2015 and ’16, he was a scholarship recipient of the Lyra Foundation Zurich.
