In dem Quintett spielten wir eine dynamische, interkulturelle musikalische Mischung – die unterschiedlichsten Musiker treffen sich zum gemeinsamen Improvisieren – und es hat funktioniert!
Seit dem Festival klingt uns allen diese Musik weiter in den Ohren. Soviel Energie, soviel Flow, soviel akustische, spontane Begegnungen und so viel Wärme haben wir alle selten erlebt.
Uns ist klar, dieses Quintett muss weiter auftreten, muss möglichst viele Menschen erreichen und wachrütteln, soll Intensität und Fülle versprühen. Hier steckt noch viel mehr drin, die Klänge in Moers sollen erst der Anfang sein, hier zeigte sich bereits wie wild und unerschrocken und dabei zugleich, wie einfühlsam und sparsam diese Musik ist.
Diese Klänge müssen einfach weiter erklingen!“

It is clear to us that this quintet must continue to perform, must reach as many people as possible and shake them awake, should radiate intensity and fullness. There is much more to it, the sounds in Moers are just the beginning, here it already showed how wild and fearless and at the same time how sensitive and economical this music is.

This quintet brings together excellent musicians who all play with their guts and little with their heads. Here different cultures, schools and generations meet and develop something new together. Trend-setting and representative for a developing cultural life in Germany – a melting pot!
An intergenerational, intercultural, musical dialogue and yet at the beginning and at the end there is improvisation.
