Stefan Schultze taucht ein in neues und altes Material für Klavier und präpariertes Klavie. Auszüge aus Pulsepusher Suite & System Tribe werden mit neuem Material kombiniert, und mit jeder Live-Performance entsteht eine neue, eigene Erzählung, die das Unerwartete in das teilweise vorgefasste Material einbezieht. Sich überlagernde Klangwolken, mäandernde Objekte und unsynchronisierte Muster bringen Klang und Farbe in diese Live-Performance.

Schultze bringt es auf den Punkt: emphatisch, emotional, suggestiv, strukturbewusst und den Zuhörer im Blick. Stefan Schultze dives in and out of new and old material for piano and prepared piano. Excerpts from Pulsepusher Suite & System Tribe are combined with new material, and with each live performance a new narrative of its own emerges, incorporating the unexpected into the partially preconceived material. Overlapping sound clouds, meandering objects and unsynchronised patterns bring sound and colour to the forefront of this live performance.

Schultze keeps to the point: emphatic, emotional, suggestive, remaining conscious of the structure, and with the listener in mind. In so doing, he has created music that challenges and rewards, music that can be both melodiously contemplative and insistently minimalistic. Yet it also astounds, culminating in some sort of outrageous surrealistic rock music, on through to the machine-like alienation created by the sound distortions of the prepared piano.
