CD Release: PERCUSSION (boomslang records)

Die drei Musiker verbindet ein gemeinsames ästhetisches Fühlen, sie erschaffen Klangwelten auf der Basis von komplexen rhythmischen Strukturen und improvisierten Zellen. Die seit 2020 bestehende intensive Zusammenarbeit des Ensembles PERCUSSION beruht auf der einzigartigen Klangsprache der Kompositionen des Pianisten Felix Hauptmann, die dem Publikum einen kommunikativen und frischen Zugang zur kollektiven Improvisationskultur dieser Band ermöglicht.

An diesem Abend präsentiert das Ensemble erstmalig das Debüt-Album PERCUSSION, aufgenommen im Dezember 2020 im LOFT.

The three musicians share a common aesthetic sensibility, creating sound worlds based on complex rhythmic structures and improvised cells. The intensive collaboration of the PERCUSSION ensemble, which has existed since 2020, is based on the unique sound language of pianist Felix Hauptmann’s compositions, which gives the audience a communicative and fresh approach to the collective improvisational culture of this band.

On this evening, the ensemble will present for the first time the debut album PERCUSSION, recorded in December 2020 at LOFT.
