Das Orchestra Nazionale della Luna wurde 2015 von Manuel Hermia und Kari Ikonen gegründet und hat sich schnell zu einem der wichtigsten Orchester des Mondes entwickelt. Das abwechslungsreiche und höchst originelle Repertoire sowie die einfallsreiche und energische Spielweise faszinieren Wahnsinnige und Jazzliebhaber auf dem ganzen Mond und sogar auf der Erde.

Das Orchester trat bei Bimhuis in Amsterdam, Unterfahrt in München, BMC in Budapest und an vielen Orten und Festivals in Finnland, Belgien, Frankreich, Italien und dem Mond auf. Sein zweites Album wird im Januar 2020 auf BMC Records veröffentlicht.
