Das Trio um den Kölner Pianisten Moritz Preisler arbeitet seit 2017 zusammen.

Ausgangspunkt sind die Kompositionen des Namensgebers, die im Kollektiv erarbeitet, bearbeitet und arrangiert werden. Die Band verbindet dabei vor Allem Elemente aus Jazz, Improvisierter Musik, zeitgenössischer komponierter Musik sowie spätromantischer und moderner klassischer Musik.
Das Ergebnis ist eine eigenwillige, mitreißende, surreale und bizarr schöne Klangkunst, die sich eigentlich nur fassen lässt, wenn man sie live im Moment ihrer Entstehung hört.

Das Debüt-Album Raureif wurde zwischen 2017 und 2019 im LOFT und im Salon de Jazz aufgenommen, ist am 22. Februar 2022 bei Klaeng Records erschienen und wurde von der Presse hoch gelobt:

The trio around Cologne pianist Moritz Preisler has been working together since 2017.

The starting point are the compositions of the name giver, which are worked out, edited and arranged in the collective. The band combines elements of jazz, improvised music, contemporary composed music as well as late romantic and modern classical music.
The result is an idiosyncratic, intoxicating, surreal and bizarrely beautiful sound art that can really only be grasped when heard live at the moment of its creation.
