Stellen Sie sich unsere Körper als einen leeren Raum vor, der keine Form hat, nur Klang. Besetzt und besetzt. Sie sind immer in Bewegung, wirbeln unmerklich langsam umher. Wir treiben, taumeln, verlieren uns in neuen Perspektiven, finden andere Körper. Wir tanzen. Wir stellen uns das Gefühl des Lachens vor, das in der Zeit eingefroren wird. Wir schlafen.

Langsam bewegtes Klangbad für Ensemble und Surround-Elektronik.
Für die Montagstreffen wird Marc neue Kompositionen und Gruppenimprovisationen komponieren und aufführen. Sitzen, Stehen, Liegen, Schlafen – alles ist erlaubt.

Der europäisch-karibische Künstler Marc Alberto (they/them) ist ein musikalischer Polyglott, dessen Arbeit sich einer Kategorisierung zu entziehen scheint.

Neben der Entwicklung einer persönlichen Sprache als Saxophonist und Multi-Instrumentalist sowie der Komposition, Improvisation und Aufführung elektroakustischer Musik arbeitet er in einem kontinuierlichen Karussell interdisziplinärer Kollaborationen als Klangkünstler, Dichter, Arrangeur, Songwriter, Produzent, Regisseur und Performer. Derzeit leben sie in Amsterdam.

Envision our bodies, as an empty room, that has no shape, only sound. Occupants and occupied. They’re always in motion, swirling imperceptibly slow. We drift, tumble, get lost in new perspectives, find other bodies. We dance. Envision the feeling of laughter bubbling up frozen in time. We sleep.

For Monday Meetings, Marc will compose and perform new compositions and group improvisations. Sitting, standing, laying, sleeping all allowed.

Euro-Caribbean artist Marc Alberto (they/them) is a musical polyglot whose work seems to escape categorisation.

Besides developing a personal language as a saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist, as well as composing, improvising and performing electro-acoustic music – they have been working in a continuous carrousel of interdisciplinary collaborations as a sound artist, poet, arranger, songwriter, producer, director and performer. They are currently based in Amsterdam.
