Luís Vicente ist ein portugiesischer Trompeter und Komponist, der nicht nur auf einigen der bekanntesten Bühnen Portugals aufgetreten ist - CCB, Serralves, Jazz em Agosto - sondern auch im Bimhuis in Amsterdam, Ungarn, Berlin und Kanada. Mit rund drei Dutzend Alben gehört er zu einer Musiker*innen-Generation, die Portugal in den letzten Jahren ins Scheinwerferlicht aufmerksamer Jazzfans gerückt hat.

Nun präsentiert er sein international-besetztes Trio erstmals im LOFT.

Luís Vicente is a Portuguese trumpeter and composer who has performed not only on some of the most recognized stages in Portugal - CCB, Serralves, Jazz em Agosto - but also at Bimhuis in Amsterdam, Hungary, Berlin or Canada. With about three dozen albums recorded, he is part of a family of musicians that in recent years has placed Portugal in the crosshairs of the most attentive jazz radars.

Now he is presenting his international trio at LOFT for the first time.
