Zwei Streicherinnen und eine Stimme laden zum Genuß ihrer Landesspezialitäten und spielen Musik aus Kusimantinien, der Heimat kühnen Wohlklangs und geschmackvoller Gesänge, wo Funk mit Jodel gewürzt wird und der 7/4 -Takt im Dreieck springt. Ja, Kusimantinien: wo die ganze Welt zuhause ist, wo sich Tonsatzkunst und Groovegewitter ineinander verlieben und gemeinsam in den Sonnenuntergang rocken.
Seit 2014 touren die drei Jazzmusikerinnen um den Globus, treffen auf fremde Gerüche und neue Klänge, sprechen unbekannte Sprachen und sehen Ungewohntes. All das schwingt in ihren Kompositionen mit, wenn die Kusimanten vom Leben und vom Lassen, von Großmüttern, Tomaten und Trompeten singen. Mit ansteckender Spielfreude präsentiert das Trio – erdig und erfinderisch Marie-Theres Härtel an der Bratsche, facettenreich und kraftvoll Tamara Lukasheva am Gesang, virtuos und wohltönend Susanne Paul am Cello – die größten Perlen der Kusimantik: haute couture für die Ohren.

Two string players and one voice invite you to enjoy their countrys specialties and play music from Kusimantinia, the homeland of bold melodiousness and tasteful singing, where funk is spiced with yodel and the 7/4 time jumps in triangles. Since 2014, the three jazz musicians have been touring the globe, encountering foreign smells and new sounds, speaking unknown languages and seeing the unfamiliar. All of this resonates in their compositions when the Kusimanten sing about living and letting go, about grandmothers, tomatoes and trumpets.
