Julia Brüssel und Falk Grieffenhagen teilen die Leidenschaft und den Forscherdrang, eine eigene Klangästhetik aus der Verbindung ihrer klassischen Instrumente und den Möglichkeiten der elektronischen Klangtransformation zu schaffen.
Gemeinsam entwickeln sie seit 2020 kompositorische Strategien und Soundkonzepte, die sowohl das instrumentale Spiel, als auch die elektronische Transformation der instrumentalen Klänge auf eine neue gemeinsame Ebene bringt. Hierzu verwenden sie teilweise selbstgeschriebene Softwarealgorithmen, um die Konzepte konsequent in eine vielfältige Klanglandschaft zu verwandeln. Die Musik führt durch orchestrale Soundwolken und integriert zudem abstrakte Beats und urbane Geräusche in eine neue Klangwelt, die als eine lebhafte Konversation der beiden Musiker mit ihren sehr unterschiedlichen Instrumenten erlebbar ist.

Julia Brüssel and Falk Grieffenhagen share the passion and the exploratory urge to create their own sound aesthetic from the combination of their classical instruments and the possibilities of electronic sound transformation.
Together they have been developing compositional strategies and sound concepts since 2020, taking both instrumental playing and the electronic transformation of instrumental sounds to a new common level. To do this, they use partially soft self-written software algorithms to consistently transform the concepts into a diverse soundscape. The music leads through orchestral sound clouds and also integrates abstract beats and urban noises into a new soundscape, which can be experienced as a lively conversation between the two musicians with their very different instruments.
