Galeano/Javaid is a duo for new music with the instrumentation guitar & saxophone, which is especially dedicated to the New Complexity.
On the program are works by James Erber, Roger Redgate, Evan Johnson & Richard Barrett.
The duo has either worked with the four composers in the past or is working towards completely new works dedicated to the duo beginning in the 2024 season.
The musicians have also worked as soloists or with other projects with the likes of Pierluigi Billone, Franck Bedrossian, Brian Ferneyhough, Richard Barrett, Marco Momi, Clemens Gadenstätter and many more.
Galeano and Javaid are both fellows of the German Music Council’s InSzene program of Podium Gegenwart.
