Im Frühjahr 1996 spielten Alexei Aigui und Dietmar Bonnen ihre erste gemeinsame Produktion im LOFT ein; als die eine Hälfte des Russian-German Composers Quartet. Auch damals schon dabei: eine Zappa-Komposition. Im Jahre 2003 veröffentlichte das Duo dann eine komplette CD mit ihren Zappa-Interpretationen: black water. Selbstverständlich aufgenommen im LOFT.
2025 wäre Frank Zappa 85 Jahre alt geworden. Ein guter Anlass, mal wieder mit seinen Stücken ein Konzertprogramm zu gestalten.
Verstärkt wird das Duo dabei (wie immer) durch Überraschungsgast Lothar Burghaus an diversen Holzblasinstrumenten.

P.S.: 2022 – zu Beginn des Ukraine-Krieges – verließ Alexei mit seiner Familie Russland und lebt nun in Frankreich.

Die Konzerte im LOFT beginnen in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.
Ausnahmen - zB an Sonntagen - sind möglich.

In 2003, the duo then released a complete CD with their Zappa interpretations: black water. Recorded at the LOFT, of course.

Frank Zappa would have turned 85 in 2025. A good occasion to once again create a concert program with his pieces.

The duo will be joined (as always) by surprise guest Lothar Burghaus on various woodwind instruments.

P.S.: In 2022 – at the beginning of the Ukraine war – Alexei left Russia with his family and now lives in France.


If hot outside, the concertt hall is air-conditioned.


The concerts at the LOFT will generally start at around 8 pm CEST - the LOFT will open at 7.30 pm CEST.
Exceptions - eg on Sundays - are possible.
