Dietmar Bonnens Reihe LiederBooks bringt Zusammenstellungen von Liedern, Songs und Chansons – und sie erscheint ausschließlich auf Vinyl.
Eingespielt in den letzten 40 Jahren von unterschiedlichen Ensembles haben sie nur gemeinsam, von Bonnen gesungen zu sein.
Schon seit der Konzeption der LiederBook-Edition ist geplant, die Lieder live im Duo mit Lothar Burghaus zu präsentieren – unabhängig von Arrangements und Instrumentierungen der Stücke auf den Schallplatten.
Im LOFT-Konzert werden die beiden die LiederBook-LPs vorgestellt, deren aktuelle Ausgabe gerade erschienen ist, und eine Auswahl aus den bisher erschienenen vier Schallplatten aufgeführt.

The trio is dedicated to the expressive fields of the moment. Whether they are highly energetic, deeply melodic, abstract, or songlike, the morphing flow of improvisation keeps them climbing new peaks. Musical interaction, focus on the big picture, and exploration of creative possibilities play the most important role for the trio, which came together at the Cologne Musikhochschule in early 2021.

The pianist Emilia Golos, who already successfully leads her own projects (among others „Travel Adapter“, „Kinga“) in improvised music, thereby creatively expands the sound colors and expressive possibilities of her instrument.

So does drummer Jakob Görris, who also composes for his own project „PER SPECT IVE“, among others, and brings his interactive and spontaneous playing style to Laika.

Philipp Hayduk, who plays in the Bundesjazzorchester, among others, complements Laika with the sound of the trombone, which fits into the trio’s improvisations both melodically and abstractly.
