Der aus Luxemburg stammende Schlagzeuger Mathieu Clement trommelt am 20. Januar eine Auswahl der crême de la crême der Kölner Jazzszene zusammen um sein Bachelorabschlusskonzert zu präsentieren.

Er fordert von seinen Mitmusikern ein spontanes Gestalten auf der Bühne, und lässt daher viel Freiraum für Einflüsse der Musikmachenden in seinen Kompositionen. Gemeinsam mit Robert Landfermann am Bass und Leon Hattori am Piano treibt er die Bläser an. Jakob Bänsch, Victor Fox und Julius van Rhee bilden eine Frontline wie aus dem Bilderbuch.
Mit neuem Programm und neuer Besetzung lädt Mathieu zu einem Abend voll romantischer Melodien, bewegender Grooves und fetzigem Swing ein.


Die Kozerte im LOFT beginnen in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.

On January 20, Luxembourg-born drummer Mathieu Clement will drum up a selection of the crême de la crême of the Cologne jazz scene to present his bachelor's degree concert.

He requires his fellow musicians to create spontaneously on stage and therefore leaves plenty of room for influences from the music makers in his compositions. Together with Robert Landfermann on bass and Leon Hattori on piano, he drives the wind players. Jakob Bänsch, Victor Fox and Julius van Rhee form a frontline straight out of a picture book.
With a new program and a new line-up, Mathieu invites you to an evening full of romantic melodies, moving grooves and groovy swing.


The concerts at the LOFT will generally start at around 8 pm CET - the LOFT will open around 7.30 pm CET.
