The documentary film "JEWISH TRANSIT BERLIN - From Hell to Hope" uncovers the post-war fate of the Jewish women, menand children who survived the Shoah in the Soviet Union, Poland and Eastern Europe and sought refuge in the Displaced Persons camps in Berlin.The film preserves the memory of the last remaining eyewitnessesand enriches their testimonials with never seen motionpicturefootage showing Berlin 1945 and the life inside thelarge Jewish DP camps of Schlachtensee and Tempelhof.
