Céline Devaux is a director and illustrator born in 1987. After her studies in Literature and History, she continued at L’Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs of Paris. Her final film project, VIE ET MORT DE L'ILLUSTRE GRIGORI EFIMOVITCH RASPOUTINE, was selected by multiple festivals in 2013 and has won several awards, notably at the Festival International of Clermont-Ferrand and at the Festival Premiers Plans of Angers. She lives and works in Paris on several plastic projects, movies, animated movies and illustrations (notably for the weekly "The 1"). Her latest short film, SUNDAY LUNCH, supported by ARTE France, the CNC and the Paris Cinema Mission of the Paris City Hall, was selected for Cannes' official competition and has won many awards, including the Cesar of the best animation short film in 2016.
