First, imagine a box full of little plastic toys like the ones we all played with as kids: cowboys, Indians, farm animals, cyclists, knights in armour, etc … Next, imagine two childlike author-animators taking hold of these rigid figurines and bringing them to life by making them act out the craziest of adventures with no regard to sense or logic. The result are the 20 episodes of PANIQUE AU VILLAGE. In THE CARD THIEVES, Cowboy, Indian, Steven and Janine are in the middle of a card game when suddenly a gang of Atlantes from the lake rush in and steal the cards. After graduation, they set up the PicPic André animation workshop characterised by the team’s ability to master a wide range of animation techniques as well as a quirky "off the wall" Belgian style humour. They produced a series of animation shorts like the famous PIC PIC ANDRÉ SHOWS and a number of commissioned works. Their latest creation: the award-winning 20 episodes of PANIQUE AU VILLAGE, a 3D stop motion object animation series.
