Synopsis

Woody Allen's first musical boasts an all-star cast, most of them also new to the genre, in the story of a young couple (Norton and Barrymore) on the mishap-strewn route to their wedding. With the help of a narrator/guide/moderator/participant, the ironies and farcical realities of the day-to-day life of the privileged class are, in typical Allen fashion, examined and exposed.
