Synopsis

L'AMORE MOLESTO is a dark thriller which explores the secrets and distottions of a mother-daughter relationship. What happened to Amalia (Angela Luce)? Who was with her the night she died? Her daughter, Delia (Anna Bonaiuto), already suspects of her mother's misconduct when she hears of the sordid circumstances of Amalia's death. Delia is saddened by the news, but not surprised. Delia knew Amalia to be an ambiguous and hard-to-please woman, prone to secret deviations, capable of eluding her husband's obsessive surveillance. But in the cruel and mysterious Naples of this film, appearances are deceptive.
