Synopsis

Inner Mongolia: Gombo and Pagma lead a peaceful life in the countryside with their three children until a seemingly insignificant event causes big changes. Beijing rules that no couple may have more than three children. Pagma sends Gombo into town to buy condoms. On the way he meets Russian truck driver Sergei who's just had a road accident. They travel to town together. A whole new world opens up for Gombo. Sergei leads him to the red-light district and the evening ends at the police station ...
