Birdboy and Dinky are two teenagers who have decided to escape from an island devastated by ecological catastrophe: Birdboy by shutting himself off from the world, Dinky by setting out on a dangerous journey with the hope that Birdboy will accompany her.
Aimed at young and adult audiences, PSICONAUTAS, THE FORGOTTEN CHILDREN is an atypical work using the typical iconography of cartoon series to tell an intense poetic and social story. It tells the struggle of Dinky and Birdboy, trying to escape the suffocating atmosphere of the island where they live – a place that lost its entire splendour following of a terrible industrial accident.
