Director's comment
The story is based on true events and characters, some of whom I have personally met. I met Anthi by reading her letters to Christos (the film is based on these very letters) and I was so touched by the unique way (maybe even a little utopian) that she experienced life, perceived the world and loved people. Additionally, while reading her letters, I myself recalled personal memories from my childhood and reminisced about images and events which I loved bringing back to life and experience all over again through this film.Biography
Thelyia Petraki is a film director and a script writer. She graduated from CALARTS (USA) with a BA in Film, and from UCL (UK) with an MA in Visual & Material Culture Dept. of Social Anthropology.FILMOGRAPHY:
