Der polnische Dirigent Piotr Jaworski studierte Klavier und Dirigieren an der Krzysztof-Penderecki-Musikakademie Krakau, Dirigieren und Opernkorrepetition an der Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien und promovierte über Liszts Opern-Transkriptionen. Als Pianist und als Dirigent besuchte er Meisterkurse u.a. bei Paul Badura-Skoda, Dimitri Bashkirov, Dina Yoffe, Johannes Kropftisch, Jorma Panula, Andrés Orozco-Estrada und Marin Alsop. Piotr Jaworski ist Preisträger zahlreicher Wettbewerbe, darunter im Fach Klavier bei Finale Ligure in Italien, Young Virtuoso in Kroatien und der Juliusz Zarebski Music Competition in Polen, im Fach Kammermusik bei den Wettbewerben in Bydgoszcz 2015 und Krakau 2017 sowie u.a. beim Lied-Duo-Wettbewerb in Sofia. Er gab Konzerte in der Warschauer Nationalphilharmonie, im Yehudi Menuhin Konzertsaal in Brüssel, im Nationalmuseum in Lemberg, im Konzertsaal der Akademie für Musik in Leipzig und im Goldenen Saal des Wiener Musikvereins. Von 2018 bis 2020 war er als Korrepetitor am Opernstudio in Warschau (Akademia Operowa) tätig, in den Spielzeiten 2022/23 und 2023/24 als Pianist Mitglied des Opernstudios der Wiener Staatsoper. Seit der Spielzeit 2024/25 ist Piotr Jaworski Solorepetitor mit Dirgierverpflichtung an der Staatsoper Hannover, wo er in der aktuellen Saison u.a. in der Neuproduktion von Porters Musical Antything Goes und der Ballettpremiere Schwanensee. Rotbarts Geschichte zu Tschaikowskis Partitur sowie bei Puccinis Tosca und Rossinis Il barbiere di Siviglia am Pult zu erleben ist.
