Die italienische Mezzosopranistin und Pianistin Martina Baroni studiert derzeit im Master Konzertgesang an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München in der Gesangsklasse von KS Prof. Christiane Iven. Die italienische Mezzosopranistin und Pianistin Martina Baroni studiert derzeit im Master Konzertgesang an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München in der Gesangsklasse von KS Prof. Christiane Iven. Sie begann als Jungstudentin am Conservatorio Statale di Musica Giuseppe Verdi Klavier zu studieren. Es folgte ein Bachelor und bei Prof. Battaglia ein Master, den sie 2022 abschloss.
In der Saison 2024/25 ist Martina Baroni Belcanto-Stipendiatin des Förderkreises der Deutschen Oper Berlin im Talent Circle.
Martina Baroni entdeckte ihre Liebe zum Singen und nahm bei Prof. Sibano auch ein Bachelorstudium im Fach Gesang auf. Anschließend vertiefte sie von in den letzten beiden Jahren als Sängerin und Pianistin ihre Kenntnisse im Bereich Kunstlied an der Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. Während ihres Studiums hat sie in zwei Produktionen des Teatro Regio Turino mitgewirkt, u. a. sang sie Frantik in DAS SCHLAUE FÜCHSLEIN von Leoš Janacek, und sang mit dem Orchester des Konservatoriums die Kantate „Phaedra“ von Britten bei den Serata musicali. 2024 wird sie am Teatro Regio als Solistin in der Operette DER KLEINE PRINZ von Pierangelo Valtinoni mitwirken.
Gefördert wurde Martina Baroni von DE SONO – Associazione per la Musica. Seit 2015 ist sie Mitglied des preisgekrönten Coro da Camera di Torino unter der Leitung von Prof. Tabbia. 2023 nahm sie als Sängerin und Pianistin an der Aufführung „Sonic Blossom“ des Künstlers Lee Mingwei im MAO in Turin teil. Darüber hinaus sang Martina Baroni als Solistin bei verschiedenen Festivals in Italien u. a. Unione Musicale, MITO Settembre Musica, Smart Opera, und trat bei den Nuits Romatiques in Aix le Bains mit Opernarien von Guiseppe Verdi auf.
Im Januar 2024 gewann Martina Baroni den Ersten Preis beim Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Hochschulwettbewerb.
