Der amerikanische Bariton Kyle Miller ist bekannt für seine elektrisierende Bühnenpräsenz und sein warmes, resonantes Timbre. Er etablierte sich schnell als ein Künstler mit unvergleichlichem Charisma und dynamischer Bandbreite. Derzeit ist er Mitglied des Ensembles der Deutschen Oper Berlin und wird 2024/25 durch das Stipendium Rolf Haeger und Florian Chiutu-Haeger des Förderkreises der Deutschen Oper Berlin gefördert. In der Saison 2023/24 war er hier Belcanto-Stpendiat im Talent-Circle und in der Spielzeit 2022/23 Stipendiat der Opera Foundation New York.
In der Saison 24/25 wird Kyle Miller u. a. die Partie des Sensor in Jeanine Tesoris GROUNDED an der Metropolitan Opera New York singen, eine Rolle, die er bereits 2023 an der Washington National Opera uraufgeführt hat. Am Opera Theatre of Saint Louis wird er in der Festspielsaison 2025 als Dr. Malatesta in DON PASQUALE reüssieren. An der Deutschen Oper Berlin wird er die Partien des Schaunard in LA BOHÈME, des Angelotti in TOSCA und des Chou En-Lai in NIXON IN CHINA interpretieren, zusätzlich zu Auftritten in IL VIAGGIO A REIMS, ARABELLA, ANTIKRIST, DIE FRAU OHNE SCHATTEN, DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE, RIGOLETTO und IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA.
In der Vergangenheit sang er u. a. Yamadori in MADAME BUTTERFLY an der Opera Philadelphia, Dancaïre und Moralès in CARMEN an der Washington National Opera, Larkens in LA FANCIULLA DEL WEST mit dem Cleveland Orchestra sowie Masetto in DON GIOVANNI, Ostasio in FRANCESCA DA RIMINI und Surin in PIQUE DAME an der Deutschen Oper Berlin. Kyle Miller war außerdem Young Artist am Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, an der Santa Fe Opera und Vocal Fellow am Ravinia Steans Institute. Er ist Gewinner des Philip R. Nichols Award in der Region New England der Metropolitan Opera Eric und Dominique Laffont Competition im Jahr 2022. Er wurde von der Opera Philadelphia zum Emerging Artist ernannt und ist stolzer Empfänger des Richard Gaddes Career Award des Opera Theatre of Saint Louis sowie des Toulmin Scholarship und des Novick Career Grant der Juilliard School.
