Geboren und aufgewachsen in Paris, begann schon mit sieben Jahren klassisch Cello zu spielen. Kurz nach dem Abitur folgten die ersten Engagements als Theatermusiker, 1998 dann ein Studium als Jazz-Cellist bei David Friedman an der Hochschule der Künste Berlin. Seit 2002 lebt Paravicini als freischaffender Multiinstrumentalist, Arrangeur und Komponist in Hamburg. Er wirkte in zahlreichen Theaterproduktionen mit, unter anderem in POEtry und Lulu von Robert Wilson, Schuld und Sühne von Karin Henkel und Effi Briest von Barbara Burk und Clemens Sienknecht. Er stand mit Annett Louisan, Lou Reed und Jochen Distelmeyer auf der Bühne, spielte Jazz mit Arne Jansen, Niels Klein und Lisa Wulff, arrangierte Streicher für Tocotronic und Die Nerven. Unter eigenem Namen legte er bislang drei Alben vor.
Am Schauspiel Hannover ist er in der Spielzeit 2023/24 in Goethes Faust – allerdings mit anderem Text und auch anderer Melodie auf der Bühne zu sehen.
