Emma-Louise Jordan studierte Klassischen Tanz in London an der Legat School of Russian Ballet und an der Rambert Academy. Emma-Louise Jordan studierte Klassischen Tanz in London an der Legat School of Russian Ballet und an der Rambert Academy. Als Tänzerin war sie u. a. mit der Midlands Dance Company und mit dem Vienna Festival Ballet in Europa auf Tournee und tanzte in Deutschland u. a. beim Ballett Schindowski in Gelsenkirchen, beim Tanzwerk Nürnberg und am Theater Dortmund. 1999 kam sie mit Amanda Miller und dem Ballettensemble „Pretty Ugly“ an das Theater Freiburg. Seit 2004 ist sie als freie Pädagogin sowie als Regisseurin und Choreografin u. a. am Theater Freiburg und am Badischen Staatstheater Karlsruhe, tätig. Zusammen mit Gary Joplin hat sie diverse Musicalproduktionen geleitet und zum Teil selbst entworfen. Darunter: SWEENEY TODD, FRÜHLINGS ERWACHEN, 13, FLOKATI (Eigenproduktion) und zuletzt THE ADDAMS FAMILY. Weitere Arbeiten waren verschiedene inklusive Theaterprojekte, bei denen Jugendliche mit und ohne Behinderung mitgewirkt haben. Seit 2008 unterrichtet sie Tanz, Improvisation und Körperarbeit an der Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Lehrerin für Gyrokinesis und Gyrotonic in Münstertal, Schwarzwald, ist sie international als Lehrerin zur Vermittlung der Methode im Rahmen von Fortbildungsworkshops unterwegs.
