Daneben entwarf er Bühnenbilder und Installationen für Oper, Schauspiel und Tanz u. a. am Berliner Ensemble, den Schauspielhäusern Bochum, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Dresden, dem Thalia Theater Hamburg, den Hamburger Kammerspielen, Oper und Schauspiel Hannover, Volkstheater und Burgtheater Wien, für die Ruhrtriennale, die Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen und das Lichtkunstprojekt Hellweg-ein-Lichtweg in NRW. Inszenierungen, für deren Bühnenbilder er verantwortlich zeichnete, wurden u. a. zum Berliner Theatertreffen, zu den Mülheimer Theatertagen und zum Berliner Kinder- und Jugendtheatertreffen eingeladen, außerdem erhielt er in Kritikerumfragen diverse Nominierungen für das Bühnenbild des Jahres. Mit dem Regisseur Philipp Rosendahl arbeitet er seit mehreren Jahren zusammen und entwarf im Zuge dessen die Bühnenbilder für „West Side Story“, „Operette“ und „Candide“ am Staatstheater Kassel sowie „Equus“ am Staatstheater Cottbus. Die Opernuraufführung „Wellen“ war Daniel Roskamps erste Arbeit für das Theater Bremen.
