Konstantin Pfiz ist seit 1998 Solocellist des MCO und trat als Solist mit Orchestern wie den Münchner Symphonikern und den Bremer Philharmonikern auf. Zudem spielt er Kammermusik unter anderem beim Clemente Trio, mit dem er den zweiten Preis beim ARD-Wettbewerb gewann und als »Rising Star« durch Europa, Asien, Australien und die USA gereist ist. Zudem spielt er Kammermusik unter anderem beim Clemente Trio, mit dem er den zweiten Preis beim ARD-Wettbewerb gewann und als »Rising Star« durch Europa, Asien, Australien und die USA gereist ist. Als Solocellist spielte er unter Dirigenten wie Abbado, Maazel und Haitink. In dieser Saison wird Konstantin Pfiz solistisch in Baden-Baden und Ferrara zu hören sein.

Konstantin Pfiz has been Principal Cellist of the MCO since 1998, and has soloed with orchestras such as the Munich Symphony and the Bremen Philharmonic. He also plays chamber music in ensembles such as the Clemente Trio, with whom he took second place at the ARD competition and travelled as a »Rising Star« through Europe, Asia, Australia and the USA. He has served as Principal Cellist under conductors such as Abbado, Maazel and Haitink. In this season, Mr. Pfiz will solo with the MCO in Baden-Baden and Ferrara.
