Moritz Widrig (er/ ihm), geb. 1994 in St. Gallen (CH), studierte Komposition für Film, Theater und Medien an der Zürcher Hochschule und den Master mit gleichem Schwerpunkt beim Komponisten Mathias Steinauer und den Filmkomponisten Niki Reiser und Peter Scherer. Projekte in u.a. Film, Theater, Performance und Videospiel, Engagements beim OSI Lugano, an der Komischen Oper Berlin, Luzerner Theater und beim Schweizer Fernsehen. 2018 Nominierung mit der Band „Panda Lux“ für einen Swiss Music Award und für den Deutschen Kompositionsförderpreis am DOK.fest München für sein Konzept zum Dokumentarfilm „Merci de Votre Visite“ (Julia Furer). Derzeit freischaffender Musiker für Theater- und Filmproduktionen sowie für die Bands „Panda Lux“, „Steiner und Madlaina“ und „Cybercity Space Septett“. Langjährige Zusammenarbeit mit Felix Rothenhäusler.
