Mauritanian singer, composer, and griot Noura Mint Seymali is one of the great voices of West Africa. Deeply rooted in centuries-old tradition, she weaves inherited repertoire with her own lyrics and poetic improvisations, stretching a line from the origins of Moorish music into the present.
