The NDR Jugendsinfonieorchester is made up of members of North Germany’s leading youth orchestras, successful participants in the competition »Jugend musiziert«, students from North German colleges of music and the members of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester Academy. In July 2018, they will be performing music by Richard Wagner in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall: the »Ring« without words, a festival of sound for full orchestra, compiled by Lorin Maazel.
