After working on a number of solo projects, Yaron Herman returns to the great tradition of the jazz piano trio together with the Iranian-American bass player Sam Minaie and Israeli drummer Ziv Ravitz. »It's not so easy to create new things in the classic trio format,« Herman once admitted. With his latest album »Songs of Degrees«, he shows how much energy can still be evolved in this classic line-up.
