Synopsis
Out of nowhere, Katja’s life falls apart: her husband Nuri and son Rocco are killed in a bomb attack. Katja’s pain almost kills her. The search for the perpetrators somehow keeps her upright – a desperate attempt to live.The police delve into Nuri’s criminal past, investigating in the drug world before arresting two suspects from the National Socialist scene: the neo-Nazi couple Edda and André Möller. Danilo, a lawyer and Nuri’s best friend, represents Katja in the subsequent trial.
The evidence presented in court clearly suggests Edda’s and André’s guilt. But the situation is exacerbated when more and more details emerge on Nuri’s criminal past and the police find Katja under the influence of drugs.
Katja wants justice and salvation – there’s simply no alternative for her.
