Synopsis

SERBIA, YEAR ZERO, covers the last fifteen years in the lives of the people who have until recently lived in a country called Yugoslavia. This period, whcih was marked by the rise to power, dictatorship and fall of Slobodan Milosevic, is reflected on here from a particular angle and view taken on it by an artist. Different themes, such as the despotic power of one politician, the physical and moral decline of a society and a personal destiny of an artist, all mix and join together constantly in a personal confession and analysis of a society in destruction.
