Synopsis

Irish revolutionary leader, politician, Minister for Finance and Director of Information are just a few of the many titles owned by the Irish patriot and revolutionary Michael Collins. Liam Neeson stars as the charismatic leader alongside Julia Roberts as Kittie Kiernan and the late Alan Rickman as Eamon de Valera and in this retelling of the heroic actions that took place in Dublin on Easter 1916 and thereafter. Director Neil Jordan perfectly captures the gripping events that took place with the help of magnificent period design and attention to detail.
