Biography
Regina Pessoa has been working in animation since 1992. Apart from several animation workshops, she worked on THE OUTLAWS by Abi Feijó (1992/93), FADO LUSITANO (1994/95) and the sand animation in STOWAWAY, also by Abi Feijó (2000).She started directing herself in 1996 and quickly obtained a vast recognition, winning countless awards and becoming an inescapable reference. She also holds a Painting Degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (1998) and is both a senior lecturer at FILMAKADEMIE (Germany) and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
