Synopsis
Between Moscow and Paris, Berlin is the spiritual centre of Europe (Sheikh Esref Efendi)Spirit Berlin is the film about the spiritual Berlin – a documentary showing a hero’s journey: young actor Stephan is seeking enlightenment and inner peace within Berlin’s spiritual scene. On his trip through the world of Ashrams, centres and communities he meets the beautiful Yoga instructor Simone, whom he falls in love with. But soon he seems to get lost in the abundance of options to get spiritually enlightened. As Stephan hurries restlessly from one event to the next, the question is if he can ever find inner peace and true love.
